PROBESEVEN - Innovative Idea Contest ’2017 – At a Glance!

 Life was ticking away to hit 2017, Time to perform…

Are you a player or spectator? Actually puzzled!
It all started here, as we were grateful for the wonderful happenings in 2016 and with the creativity to march forward was the introduction of the event. We did prepare to hike forward into the new year with all the years of composed motivation, quality of life and work and discover our impact to innovate.

As New Year Celebration blasted and at the dawn of 2017, we did launch a contest to our teams. It was an opportunity to exhibit their innovative ideas. Some may be like the long-awaited moment has now began and it’s time to perform.

It cannot go with a concept or the title and we know the best to be called as the ‘INNOVATIVE IDEA CONTEST’.

It was not just to share ideas and we did not believe in the usual slogan ‘Participation is better than winning’, it was something that each individual possess about the social culture, organization culture and the human synergistic. Quite often as each system gets implemented we give out our opinions and arguments over the betterment. Why not? Use this opportunity to snatch out those hidden thoughts and let you minds free with no more entombs.


The Concept

The concept ‘Innovative Idea’ provoked asking the participants ‘What is your little-big idea to bring a change? With much more focused the thought and innovative ideas were to be presented in the social culture, organization culture and about the human synergistic.

In this competitive world, it is no doubt that innovation to anything that has its presence when driven  thoughtfully with innovation leads to success. All of us need success but are we innovative. Most business today are reinventing the business processes rather than following the same pattern. The pool of new concepts and ideas when selected and executed brings the right progress.

The Outcomes

As the launch of the contest,  it was like ‘Get original’ mode among each of the team members. We did come across few early bird submissions from Bala Sundaram, Sandhosh Kumar & Karthik who presented their ideas which was an inspiration for more participants. It is also truly agreed that it is not easy to come up with Innovative ideas which is truly original.

Sooner few more entries flooded in and it has become a tough game to win. It’s all about presenting an innovative idea which keeps dashing your minds every now and then. Most of them tried and enthusiastically participated.

Time for the declaration and as the team was on move and busy innovating for the right reasons, the realization was the rewards will come automatically. We are glad to announce the winner of this event here…

The Junk food day

Have you ever told yourself that “I don’t want to junk my tummy and so would I say no to junk foods” then grabbing only the healthy foods on to your plate? Not all would do this as most times a lack of assertiveness makes you tempted and break the rules. Find the best way to discover strategies for standing up to your healthy decisions.

The event which gives a chance to grab the junk food for just a day and still being aware it is an opportunity for merely a day. The co-ordinators Nagamani and Boominathan enthusiastically lead the event with wonderful presentations and tangling delicious junk snacks that delighted our taste-buds. Doubtlessly, turned to be one of the best by itself and cheers to the organizers.

The Programmers Day

Sooner in mid of September was the programmer day which was brilliantly organized by the co-ordinators ManojKumar and Karthik. Keeping the theme of the event to be informative and thought-provoking the events were organized along with the presentation which detailed about the sprouting of the programmers, the statistics of distribution, the importance, the evolution created and along with sharing of real-time experience. This exchange created a brain storming which ignited the programmer minds to think more and act more.

The practical hands-on was provided to the team which comprised of cracking the code and think-out-of-box. This challenge met by our team alluring in excitement. Having provided another unique concept to the non-tech professionals of our team further added to the overall success of the event.

With much applause and along with the projection the self-confidence and the organizing spirit helped in improving the soft skills.


The HR Day

The fondest and undeniable day of the year! As the team realized that grand success comes when career and passion are in fusion. It is also realistic to having felt that passion is something which we build and the career is what our HR builds for us and it is the best time to show and share the gratitude to the our Human Resource Department.

Briefing over the day, the organizers Nagamani and Pandiyarajan provoked the thoughts in the minds of the team. With the prime understanding that the HR team unlocks our potentials and helps us grow right from knowing ourselves. What HR really means for each of the individual came into lights and here are the few shared:

Improve your office day

Obviously, this day stands out from the rest. The success of this event was framed in our minds that rebuilt and kept us continuously environment conscious. The team together was fueled and the right spirit of fulfilling potential was driven in each of us. The day was all about the improvement concepts keeping us close with the thought on motivation.

The day co-ordinators Jayaraj and Noorul made a wonderful start and a fulfilling end. The support added by Pandiyarajan who helped merging to the improvement concepts that related to the systems handing.

A quick come up was the show of buzzer quiz that excited the participants. More information on the health improvements, optimized work strategies, productivity tips and much on ergonomics of work place.

As the day gets busier and it becomes essential to plan a to-do list. Let me tell you when you start to practice and practicing to create the list your mind starts to summarize the points, it would automatically eliminate the hindrance, it helps you decide upfront the importance of the task and the time consumption.

It also should be clearly understood that the concrete goals whether based on the days, weeks or months has some molecular goals which are the ones that needs to be achieved on the daily basis. The step by step process thinking to meet the objectives makes it sooner for the achievement of the desirable goals.

Anti-To-Do List: Psychological, yet feel the difference instantaneously!

Strategically, this suits the person who is more inclined towards the frustrations when the tasks are left unfinished. Although the ultimate goal is to improve the productivity and stay motivated over the task completion. The planner has the ability to feel accomplished and it is also sneaky when you notice the list left unfinished.

Not being sure that if you are familiar with the concept of Anti-to-do list, which is just the reverse of the to-do list where you would list the jobs completed instead of the list of to be completed tasks.

End of the day you would be glad to see the amount of work accomplished and it would not let you wonder as what the hell has been done for past 8 hours! By implementing this strategy, you would spontaneously feel the difference and would certainly learn to focus on the positives that would help you adhere to your productivity targets.

One-day Professional Development Workshop by Mr. Sivakumar Palaniappan, Mastering Mind Academy.

How it all started?  The blossom day of 30th June (Thursday) was a quick gathering with the team and it was like with no clue there was some chatter here and there, all were gathered in few minutes. Heard the general greetings and hope you all are doing well and in just few minutes we were revealed how our professional skills would get transformed and promising to see a smarter soul within us and get lot more from the ….. was a silence.

Yes! it was about hosting a Professional Development Workshop by a profound and eminent personality Mr. Sivakumar Palaniappan, Mastering Mind Academy.

It was a privilege offered by the company during which we as a team could have an opportunity to understand ourselves, leverage our intelligence to generate a greater impact on our career and hoping to know the dates was the insight of each minds in the gathering.

Swiftly, was the move from the team and with rather no questions was the hands raised symbolically showing a great interest and acceptance to be a part of the workshop. More than words the body language had greater impact and the eager minds were cherished. Sooner were the team reacted to show interest to know more.

The dates were officially announced for 2nd July 2016 at a prominent venue the meeting hall of Le Pebble. Lavish space and alluring interiors cheered us.

More specifically we would say the interest and the devotion was exceptional towards the event was to the mentoring from Mr.Sivakumar Palaniappan, the Professional Speaker, Author, Career Coach and Corporate Trainer. Highly inspiring are his works towards the society, the students, the job seekers, the young employees, corporate and entrepreneurs. Ample number of workshops and with many accolades made us feel privileged to get associated for a day.

The day of the workshop:

Gathered with fresh minds and bright eyes to seek for the professional development skills and so did the event start by 9.30 am with a quick ice-breaking session. All the pondering noise got settled and keenly concentrated over the presentation. The morning session started with a virtual walk through of the principles and disciplines of the personalities and corporate across the globe, in a meager layman understanding we were driven to know actually what are the possibilities and capabilities we are built upon for the massive achievement.

Keeping the environment cool and composed we were confidently led to the enlighten of the corporate world and the desired professional skills. Most of them were awe-struck so as to have been amazed of their hidden capability and with the regret of not having been used skilfully. This transformation boosted the spirits and the team was looking for more to gain.

Just as we shuffled a couple of times with the seats was the time that took us for a relishing and refreshing lunch at Le Pebble Restaurant. After all the muttering and burbling was over and landed to the floor.

Plenty of information and more questions for clarification we gathered to the second half of the session. Dashing though all new concepts and what was immensely learnt were Time management, ethics, creativity, decision handling, communication, dedication, responsibility, smart thinking and hard work, policy adoption, team work and much more. This gave a clear thinking and there were many who realized and thanked the company for creating such workshops and helping in the career of each individual.


The saying of few personalities brought to light. “I am not here to be average, I am here to be awesome”. Few other felt, “Got to be stubborn about the goals and flexible over the methods”. Yet another group with, “Focus on your goal, don’t look in any direction but ahead”, this in turn meant the productivity killer social connectivity like whatsapp, facebook, twitter. More voices promised over the time management, knowledge enhancement and practically following the techniques learnt.

As initially stated the workshop was something like the infinite in benefits allowing each one to gather as much as they wish. The presenter Mr. Sivakumar proved to excel and had won our huge respects. It was something to feel a best friend in him. The vote of thanks was presented in this note and we are looking forward to most such experiences.

There has been always a debate on “Early birds vs Night Owls”. It is a phenomenal approach that seeks the comfort of each individual to gain extended hours at early before the dawn or late after the dusk. 

So far I was a “Night Owl” who did majority of things at night, so that I get extra time to sleep in the mornings. Even I used to get up in the morning only to switch off the alarm to get additional sleep. I loved alarms with snooze options. But the case is different with me now. I gradually turned from “Night Owl” to an “Early Bird” and yes! Early bird sounds not only sweet but with energetic too.

Everyone is provided with the same time frame in the earth i.e. 24 hours a day, but Early birds have little extra time. Not they have more than 24 hours but getting up early makes 24 hours a lengthy one. Here’s some points I put forward to defend me as an “Early Bird”.

1. Fresh Mornings, Fresh Starts

Mornings are always fresh. It’s the start of the day and right from flowers to our mind, everything is fresh. Only fresh mind can think fresh. If you wake up late, you will notice the lost time. Ultimately, you have to fasten your seat belts and rush to finish off that day works with less time.

 2. No Hurry, No Worry

The most irritating and annoying feel in the world is rushing and hurrying to work or to office or anything you have to. Hurrying drains your energy physically and mentally. Getting up early gives you extra time to make yourself relaxed, time to get yourself ready, relaxed and ‘complete’ breakfast, ride at normal speed to office or anywhere. Few worries starts where you have to hurry.

 3. Never get transformed “You be You”

Mornings are only time where you don’t need masks. You will be yourself and you don’t have to fake. First and best friend of you is yourself and spend time for u. Ask yourself what you want and spend little time for you and of course your life is yours.

 4. Prepare to Perform

Every activity needs preparation at first to perform it better. Better preparation needs creativity, fresh mind, fresh body and fresh energy. Interestingly early morning gives you all these as complete. Make a list of things that has to be done by evening.

5. Life wants you to enjoy evenings

No one wants to work evenings when your friends and family expecting your presence to enjoy with them. I always believe in Work-Life balance  which states that “work at morning and life at evening”. As the day runs along you will get tired and you can’t work with same energy as like morning. That’s one another reason for the Sun to settle down to leave you relaxed at evenings and enjoy life. Birds back to nests, friends to your regular hang out place and family members to your home. Finish off your work soon and live your life the way you want at evenings.

 6. Better Sleep, Better Health

Who does not love sleep? Every one need to sleep and the matter is how much time you get to sleep and how deep you sleep. Most of us have a common complaint that “ I am not falling asleep at once i go to bed”. To get sleep you need relaxed mind and a tired body. Early morning works will drain your energy and ultimately you will get tired. The more time you had made you to finish that day work and your mind gets relaxed. Better sleep means you ensure better health. Only deep sleep and good hunger indicates your health is getting along with you in right path. Early sleep ensures early morning get up and vice-versa.

 So, what is the wait for? Get up early, have fresh start, don’t get hurry and worry, you become “you”, perform better, enjoy life at evening, get better sleep and get up early next day. This proved to be the success mantra to catch up the day long routines, success endeavours, family fun and friends rejoice.



PROBESEVEN - A Successful day at work, let’s call it-The Mantra for Growth Accelerator!

Here is my experience working with the team which lets me share the tips for the successful day at work. This may be relatively the overall success which I call it a ‘Growth Accelerator’. The discoveries on the daily basic refines few adaptable points and the good logic which makes you successful and on accumulation of few or many successful days will indeed increase your aspiration to an unbeatable competitor while gathers rich work experience and better conduct.

May be we can call it the right attitude for a good nutrition at work.

1.   Be Punctual

Arrive to work on time which is the quality that help professional life.

2.   Engage Entirely

Never carry personal commitments to work, focus to involve to the fullest.

3.   Stay Organized

Never ponder over the previous works, plan, analyse and start with the clear goal in an organized manner.

4.   Manage Emotions


This is directly means your moods which has great impact on the work deliveries, practice positive attitude and never let emotions to pull you down. Yes! Work with emotional intelligence.

5.   Quick Team Meet

Possibly with less than a quarter hour you could meet with the team to share their day’s goals, achievement, technology finding and support that is required. This will help you to quick start.

6.   Organized Work space

This does not relatively mean cleaning but stay organized with your workspace which will keep you grab your utilities in seconds and well your system files which need to have a clean desktop, schedule planners to help you avoid waste of time and frustrations.

7.   Plan a Morning Break

This could primarily be to revitalize and energize both physically and mentally but it could also be set as a reminder for the take completions and track your road map for the day.

8.   Work & Evaluation

Work in consistent speed and evaluating the work completion and accomplishments for the day will take your plans further and it would keep you motivated to start off with the new task and new day. Do make the practice of task evaluation daily.

By now you would have done with your half of day schedule and keep the spirit on and go ahead to know what more has to be rightly done to stay successful and popular as best among the peer group.

9.    Review Work done & Following Day schedule

The work that is been in active for the day need to be reviewed for perfection and do make it a practice to deliver the fullest and most concentrated work. Plan for the following day schedule which is an opportunity to accomplish quicker and better.

10.   Meet up with your Boss & Team

This is something indispensable that caters to the perfect completion of the task. You may report to your senior about the status and check with your co-workers on updates and be informed the flow of the project. This practice guides to meet the deadline of the project.

11.   Sort of Clearing the Stack

All your stacked updates, emails, papers give it a revision, sort out the priorities, reply all, accept the solicitations, forward the required ones and of course trash the unwanted. Take few sections to organize the hardcopies and filing where required. This will enrich the following day at work.

12.   End of Day Work

Respond to all queries, updates, emails before you end your day, literally means shutting the computer or leaving the work station.

13.   Set Following Day Priorities

You might have completed for the day but still keeps the plans and to dos ready for the following day which could help meeting with the targets and experience another successful day.

14.   Bid Good Bye

The right attitude would be to end the day bidding a warm good bye to your colleague which will keep the atmosphere enriching and friendly. It may sound like an achieved day and hence do not miss out a proper practice of saying good bye to your colleague.

15.    Encouragement

Build a positive attitude to compliment any one on achievements and do show a gratitude by thanking those who have offered you may be clients. This makes a big difference in the long run and the positive waves spread among each one to makes things working perfectly well and proficiently handled.

PROBESEVEN - XrayVision DCV-Stunnel-Orthanc Connection


This document explains the process of working with XrayVision DCV software, Stunnel proxy server and Orthanc DICOM server.


Initially to start with the below applications need to install,

  1. Orthanc
  2. OpenSSL
  3. Stunnel
  4. XrayVision DCV


STEP 1: Open the orthanc ‘Configuration.json’ file.


STEP 2           : You need to change the following options in ‘Configuration.json’ file. The values should be unique When you run multiple instance in same system.


STEP 3: After the completion of the configuration, you are required to ‘Start’ or ‘Restart’ the orthanc services.

STEP 4: Open the browser and enter the HTTP port number with domain name. Now, you would get the login window in the pop up. You are required to enter the login credential which are  username and password that can be obtained in the ‘RegisteredUsers’ options(Configuration.json).


Once you login successfully, you would get the orthanc home page with patient list.



STEP 5: After orthanc process completion, you need to create top level certificates like CA’s certificate, CA’s private key, CA’s TLS common file (combine both CA’s files), stunnel server certificate and private key using OpenSSL. At First Open the OpenSSL command prompt.

STEP 6: Enter the below code for CA’s private key.

genrsa -out ca_root.key 4096


STEP 7: For CA’s certificate, you need to add X.509 certificate with the CA private key.

req -x509 -new -nodes -key root.key -days 1024 -out ca_root.pem


STEP 8: Use the below code to create private key for Stunnel server.

genrsa -out server.key 4096


STEP 9: Generate a certificate signing request (CSR) for server.key file

 req -new -key server.key -out server.csr


STEP 10: Now you will need to create stunnel server certificate using server CSR certificate, CA’s certificate and CA’s private.

x509 -req -in server.csr -CA ca_root.pem -CAkey ca_root.key -CAcreateserial -out server.crt -days 1023


STEP 11: Finally, you need to combine CA’s certificate and CA’s private for TLS connection from XDCV.

For Windows           :                type ca_root.pem  ca_root.key >                                                                                      ca_root_TLS.pem

We have now successfully created some important files using OpenSSL.

Please use that files based on below instructions,

  1. ca_root.pem                                  – In Stunnel configuration
  2. server.key                                      - In Stunnel configuration
  3. server.crt                                       – In Stunnel configuration
  4. ca_root_TLS.pem                       – In XrayVision DCV configuration


STEP 12: Here at first you need to create one new folder called ‘certificates’ inside the stunnel directory and add the ca_root.crt, server.key, server.crt into that folder.


STEP 13: Now you need to open the stunnel.conf file. Remove all the default configuration from ‘stunnel.conf’ and update the below code.

You will now have to configure certificates path from ‘certificates’ sub directory , log path and level, TLS, stunnel listens and connect port information.

accept        -         Expecting DICOM request with given port from                                               XrayVision DCV

connect    –         Send the DICOM request to orthanc DICOM server.

cert             -         Server certificate file path

key              –         Server private key file path

STEP 14: Click the stunnel application icon (see the below image) to run the stunnel services based on new configuration.


XrayVision DCV

STEP 15: At first, you need to open the XrayVision DCV software. Then go to the Adavanced User Tools->Preferences menu option. Now you will get a login window. Please enter the user ID and password to login.


STEP 16: Click on ‘DICOM’ option from left menu, then choose the ‘Configure DICOM Servers’ options.


STEP 17: Now you will get ‘DICOM Servers’ window and click on ‘Add’ button to add new DICOM server informations. You have to configure the XrayVision DCV software using stunnel and orthanc server details. See below given image for configuration.


STEP 18: For TLS configuration, you need to choose the encryption type as TLS and upload the ‘ca_root_TLS.pem’ certificate file.


STEP 19: Click on ‘Verify’ button to check the communication status. You will get a success message If everything was successfully configured.


STEP 20: Now you need to enable the image forwarding options. When you capture the images in XrayVision DCV, it will automatically forward to orthanc DICOM server via stunnel connection.


STEP 21: Finally we successfully completed all the settings. If you add any new images in XrayVision DCV software for patients, it will reflect in orthanc DICOM server.
